About our school
South Point High School, Silchar a name synonymous with quality education in the Barak Valley, celebrated a remarkable milestone on 17th January 2025, marking its 44th year since its founding. The institution’s journey began on this very day in 1981, when it was established by the visionary and philanthropic figure, Late Indu Bhusan Dey. With a dream to provide a strong academic foundation and foster holistic growth, he laid the cornerstone of a school that would go on to become one of the most respected educational institutions in Silchar.
